Visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre & Performance: Acting & Directing

The Department of Performance and Communication Arts at St. Lawrence University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position (renewable for up to three years) beginning in August 2012.  Preference will be given to candidates who are creative pedagogues, with college-level teaching and directing experience.  Courses to be taught include Acting (beginning and advanced levels), Directing, Voice and Movement, and advanced courses in theatre and performance.  The candidate will be expected to direct at least one main stage production per academic year.  Degree requirements: Ph.D. or MFA preferred, ABD considered.

Interested candidates should send a letter of application, a vita, three letters of recommendation, and sample syllabi for two relevant courses to Professor A. M. G.
