Leah Farrar '11

Leah Farrar '11, of Pittsford, NY, won the Award of Academic Excellence at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS), while studying in Denmark during the spring 2010 semester. Over 600 students from colleges across the country were eligible for the award, given each semester for outstanding academic achievement.

An English and fine arts major, Farrar is a member of leadership honorary Omicron Delta Kappa and the English honor society, and is active in a variety of campus organizations. She was awarded Tanner Fellowship in 2009 and a University Fellowship in 2008, both for writing projects.
